Watch os 3 not showing up in my watch software updates

You will first need to update your iPhone to iOS 10.0.1:

Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Then update your watch:

Update the software on your Apple Watch - Apple Support

If you have previously been using beta software, try deleting the beta profile(s) and restarting both devices.

I have not been using the beta software at all and my phone will still not get the 0S 3 update. It says my watch is up to date with 2.2.1

I Deleted the profile and it's still not working

I Was able to reset my watch then restore it from a backup. My Iphone was then able to find the 3.0 update. Hope this helps !

Try restarting your Apple Watch, it worked for me.

I have done both, removed beta profile from phone and restarted both devices and still no update. I had my watch on the charger, phone connected to wi-fi and still watch update will not come through.

I had to un-pair and then re-pair (choose restore from backup when prompted) my watch to get the update to show up.

That seemed to so the trick, Thanks alot!!!!!!
